Efter nogle dages sightseeing i bl.a.

Birkerød Brass Quintet was in August 2015 in a fantastic touring trip to Canada and the United States. The first stop was Toronto, with a concert in the Danish Church with David Braid - a famous jazz pianist - and two talented musicians on drums and bass. The day after the concert was repeated at the Academy of Music, where David Braid was educated.
The tour continued on to Salt Lake City and a small town just north Ogden. Here was very generously made studio, accommodation and meals available to the whole group and in just two evenings a CD was recorded under quite special circumstances, since the studio was under renovation during the day.
After a few days of sightseeing in particular Yellowstone, Bryce National Park, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, reached the quintet to the "Danish" city of Solvang little northwest of Santa Barbara. Here was previously made contact with the Lutheran church with agreement on an evening concert and the next day asked the quintet for yet another concert in the park in a so-called "Gazebo", an open pavilion with fantastic acoustics.
It was a packed trip with a high yield for the quintet, both academically and socially.
